Wendywoman Makes A Choice…

November 5, 2012 · 2 comments

Day in and day out we are faced with choices we have to make, some easy and some difficult.   Sometimes we don’t bother making a choice one way or another because we think it doesn’t matter.   It is often the risk associated with difficult choices that paralyzes us and prevents us from exploring all the world has to offer.   We want a successful life, but we are afraid of the possibility of failure.  Listen closely when I tell you that opportunity never will show up as long as you walk the fence of indecision.  You have to make some choice, any choice in order for your life to change.   Yes, your choices matter.

Success is a choice; a conscious decision you make every morning when you wake up.  Hardly ever does it show up unexpectedly and never is it without risk.  It may be that you have to make some sort of investment in yourself that requires money, time or effort.  Most of us never take advantage of opportunities that come our way because we spend so much time analyzing them that we never take any action.  Even though success may have arrived, we don’t make a choice to invite it in because we are too busy focusing on limitations instead of seeing the opportunities.  Stand on the fence of indecision long enough and you will start to see nothing but a sea of limitations.  Get off the fence and do something!

Every day I bless my life as successful, not because it is perfect, but because there are plenty of mistakes I will undoubtedly make that I get to learn from.  Over the years I have trained myself to look at everything that is going on in my life and recognize the opportunities I can take advantage of.  I’m not a big fan of repeating lessons today that I should have learned yesterday, so I use my prior experiences to see what might be helpful in my current circumstances.  Taking advantage of all the wisdom I have accumulated over the years, mostly from bad choices, helps me to make the best choices for myself today.  My biggest priority is to make sure that fear and doubt don’t paralyze me so that I succumb to making no choice at all.

Many blessings for a successful week,

Wendy

Great message on the eve of the presidential election. Vote for Romney, it’s not perfect, but it does make a huge difference in all of our lives.
Thanks, WW

Awesome as usual. None of us always make the right choices…but we learn to make our choices be the right ones!
